Easy Watermelon Sorbet Recipe | Home with Willow | Katie Emmitt

Summer is definitely the best time for fresh fruits & veggies! There’s nothing better than a big fresh, juicy watermelon cut up in the fridge to snack on all day, make smoothies out of, and freeze to make watermelon sorbet! Not only is watermelon delicious, it also has some great health benefits. In honor of National Watermelon Day (August 3rd), I’m sharing my Easy Watermelon Sorbet Recipe!

Homemade watermelon sorbet is so easy to make and only requires two ingredients. It makes a fantastic snack, dessert, or breakfast! No ice cream maker needed! Scroll down to get the recipe.

Strawberry Banana Nice Cream Chia Pudding Jar Home with Willow

Since you guys just loved my previous Chia Pudding Recipes, I thought I would include another one: this Strawberry Banana Nice Cream Breakfast Jar! The colors, presentation, and taste of this breakfast jar are all absolutely INCREDIBLE!

Now, I am a huge fan of making a big batch of Chia Seed Pudding at the beginning of the week for breakfasts. (It’s the perfect plant-based breakfast meal-prep food staple), so its always nice when you can come up with ways to customize your jars in the morning, so you aren’t stuck with eating the same flavor of chia pudding each day. This would also be perfect for a Saturday morning, if you have any left over! Or as a healthy dessert option during the week when you want something sweet.

high protein plant based smoothie

Alright guys, this is my ABSOLUTE favorite high protein plant based smoothie recipe. This is my go-to for mornings before work where I need something quick and super filling.

high protein vegan smoothie ingredients

The other benefit to this high protein plant based smoothie is that once you grab a bag of each of the ingredients, all you need on hand is a banana & some plant-based milk (which are staples for me every grocery trip). My go-to is almond milk, but you could go with soy, cashew, hemp, oat, hazelnut… I could go on and on (but that’s for another post!) So while buying a bag of hemp protein might cost $20 initially, you’re looking at 45 servings, which roughly equates to .44 cents per serving of 11g of protein! (This smoothie is also my go-to when I don’t have much on hand, but I still have my staples).
